Inventory/Receiving Coordinator
Department: Production Control
Reports to: Production Control Manager
Exempt: No
Job Goal:
The Inventory/Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory physically as well as through database organization, maintaining inventory levels required to meet distribution demands and the intake and recording of all shipments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Examine incoming shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or
orders, to verify accuracy.
- Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages,
shortages, or nonconformance to specifications
- Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each
delivery, match the packing list, and receive in ERP.
- Inventory, requisition and manage manufacturing supplies including raw materials and cage
supplies
- Identify and adjust inventory data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations.
- Report adjustments needed for inventory and cycle counts to manager based on analysis of inventory
summaries, work in progress reports, levels of raw materials, and finished goods.
- Trouble shoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing personnel.
- Prepare and participate in cycle counts and yearly physical inventory.
- Assist with locating finished stock goods when shipment is ordered.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Communication Skills
High school diploma or the equivalent required.
2+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use
hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or
hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 40 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
This position could potentially require weekend and overtime hours.
