Job Goal:

The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring all Blast and Press Operators have the materials and paperwork needed to complete their work. Their primary goal is to ensure a smooth flow of production throughout the molding department.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Review production schedules to determine type and quantity of prepped materials required for blasting and molding operations: Fabricated metal, Blasted and painted metal, and painted ceramics.

· Coordinate with Managers, Supervisors, & Shift Leads to prioritize the jobs for molding operations.

· Ensure material is processed and deliver to the press on time. Re-prioritizing raw material processing if there is a shortage of materials.

· Use appropriate equipment to deliver materials.

· Ensure materials are stored in appropriate areas and stored according to safety requirements.

· Ensure all materials are properly identified before moving to next work center.

· Assist in cleaning and organizing the factory floor during any down time.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Ability to follow directions and get along well with others.

Outstanding punctuality and attendance required.

Basic math skills required.

Excellent Communication Skills required.

Basic reasoning skills are required.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. In addition, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Must be available for overtime and work weekends when necessary.
