Project Management Supervisor

Department: Engineering | Reports to: Engineering Manager | Location: Falkville, AL

The Project Management Supervisor ensures timely and budget-compliant completion of all assigned projects, overseeing from concept to delivery/installation. They provide structure, governance, and resource coordination to achieve project goals. Responsibilities include supervising project teams, educating company resources, and overseeing project execution.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise project management team, including dedicated and temporary project managers.
• Collaborate with VR business unit to support project needs, from initial planning to installation.
• Manage major projects hands-on, owning project management processes and procedures.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, providing weekly updates.
• Lead file management, E2 job monitoring, and project order management.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, production, and QC to align with project objectives.
• Ensure regular communication with stakeholders, in coordination with sales team.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, providing field support when needed.
• Travel internationally for field support as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5+ years of fabrication or construction project management experience.
• Supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Proficiency in project monitoring and blueprint reading.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Project.
• Experience with steel fabrication, engineering, and/or mechanical assembly.
• Working Knowledge of mining/minerals extraction a plus.

Working Conditions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, and ascending up to 12 flights of stairs daily.
• Must be at ease with heights and proficient in using fall protection harnesses.

Travel Expectations

Anticipated travel approximately 10%, including occasional international trips. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Typical hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Extended hours may be required on occasion.
